Sephora FiberWig

So recently while on the train, I have been seeing these ads for Fiberwig mascara exclusively at SEPHORA. Now I am definately no huge mascara fan, but this ad just kept catching my eye. My mom wheres mascara, and has been doing so for so many years. I personally don't think she needs it, but it does create a look that helps the eyes pop a bit. But any which way, Fiberwid is one of the major selling mascara products in Japan. It is only at Sephora, so after reading this blog you want to check it out, visit http://www.sephora.com/ or check it out in on of their stores. This amazed me, so I did some reach and here are some fast facts:

  • Designed to create the perfect lashes

  • Micro-fine interconnecting fibers

  • Fast drying

  • Removes instantly with warm water

  • ***Does not damage natural lashes

  • ***Clump Free

If you are wondering why, I have put 3 * next to the last two. It is because nobody like to damage their lashes, they are the most sensitive areas on the body, the hair falls off so easily naturally. The last is I HATE clumpy lashes!!! It looks so bad on most people. If you don't have this problem then continue to ignore this rant! =) But I would actually recommend this product to people, who have no lashes or really thin and or short lashes. This product is getting an A+ from me! I hope others can enjoy it.

Please do leave a comment or two, letting me know what you think about the product or if you know anyone who has used it and feels different about it.

Fashion Trends and New Designers

Hey my fellow bloggers! Well the few not the many that read this blog (lol) I have decided to get the designers that I know to gush out their views on fashion, material, and just their perspective on designing in general! Also I plan on showing their clothing lines and helping them get exposure. So look forward to blogs coming about that!..... Also thanks to a friend of mine, I am going to have pictures of random people on my blog with different body types to help those people out there find things that suit them!......I have so much to blog about, but so little time it feels like! Stay tuned though, Designer Craving is coming back! =) Promise not to disappoint!

"The Shirt"

The shirt! Now when i am talking about the shirt, i am talking about of course wovens, or button down shirts as most of us would call them. Yes, this summer I have really fallen in love with Mens Wovens, why you may ask? I have no idea what so ever. (lol) But what i do certainly know is that they are the most comfortable shirts ever maddeeeee!!!!!!

My other love is skinny jeans of course, whats more perfect to go with Mens Wovens? SKINNY JEANS yes this is my new favorite look. I am certain that we have all seen this look before. Whether in magazines or just walking down in the city. What really inspired me while browsing a store, was overhearing this stylist and model in the store talking about skinny jeans. That had not really grabbed my attention but when the stylist mentioned the Mens Woven shirt to pair with a pair of skinny jeans, i was instantly hit with an outfit. (lol) I want to say that i borrowed the outfit from the stylist and tweaked it myself! I will upload pictures of the outfit i put together lol with skinny jeans and of course a woven shirt!

But below are some of my new best friends!
The 3 men shirts are from levis and the bottom right one is from forever21 but is a woman woven. Don't you just love them????!!!!

Mblem

Some history about Mblem that I NEVER knew about until recently when i finally remembered to visit the website. Mblem has been featured on E!, VH1, Mtv, Extra, Access Hollywood and many more. Plus this line has been written about in marie claire, lucky, lou lou, and InStyle Magazine. Mandy, says that she has hands on experience with her line, she didnt just stamp her name on the line just because, that's one thing i really like. Though I may not agree with all the pieces (that's just the designer in myself) there are still many to choose from that are really nice. Some are a bit pricey, but just think your not only buying the name you are buying the quality!

So i have been checking up on her and I think her clothing line is something affordable! Like i said there are some pieces that are quite pricey, but hey it happens. The line includes jersey; which is the greatest fabric/material ever made! You can do so much with anything made out of jersey doesn't wrinkle when worn. You can just throw the clothes into a travel bag and not have to worry about it getting wrinkled! Plus lets not forget its super comfy lol !!! The only downfall I would say, is that there arent many places in New York that sell Mblem. The only place as of now that has Mblem is March Boutique 1250 Pleasantville Rd, Briacliff Manor, NY 10520. But the upside is the show room is located on 39th street YAY the city lol......I think her line has the potential to expand......

Also i dont know how many people who know Mercedes from ANTM, but i believe that she is modeling Mblem on the website...not to sure if its her, but if it is YAY for her lol I think she is so beautiful!!! Wish her the best.

Some of my favorite pieces for spring 08 are (pics from Mblem.net):

1(bubble sleeve tunic $190) 2(Shirred Panel Spaghetti Strap Dress $190)

3(Butterfly Twist Dress $190) 4(Cross Collar Coat $265)

Purple Rain....

So i have Recently finally seen the movie purple rain! It was amazing!!! loved it lol....but that's partially the reason why i am making this post. Now everyone that knows me, know that i have the tendency to do my hair in styles from the 80's and stuff like that. Or even dress old school sometimes, not saying i do all the time lol. But so anyhow during the movie i realized that i miss what style used to be back then! today we still have style dont get me wrong, its just how people chose to style themselves and get lost in the translation of becoming the style instead of making it their own!

I got inspired while watching the movie and craving to make their style my own. Change a few ideas and etc. lol but here are some of my favorite looks from the movie! oh and if you have yet to see it i recommend you renting it and checking it out lol great movie! Also i must praise the custome designer Marie Frank she did an awesome job!
